Job Purpose:
Job Purpose: Responsible to execute the maintenance activities for the company’s equipment and facilities at assigned site(s). Work closely with the concerned internal and external stakeholders to execute timely, cost-effective and smooth maintenance programs and processes.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Execute preventive and corrective maintenance activities/programs/systems (including risk assessment).
Perform all equipment and facilities electrical/mechanical maintenance activities according to agreed maintenance plans.
Ensure appropriate preparation and archiving of maintenance documentation
Prepare periodic (daily, weekly, monthly, yearly) reports on major maintenance KPIs
Undertake corrective actions on all deviations from the plan.
Develop professional and technical skill by attending trainings and workshops.
Ensure full compliance with the Government Environment, Occupational Health & Safety requirements (including regular updates on any new law/regulation).
Handle and dispose hazardous substances as per procedures and safely
Report and manage any incidents timely and effectively
Participate in the formulation/update of policies, processes and procedures in compliance with Ethiopian legal requirements, best practices and the company’s requirements.
Support the formulation, management and report of the maintenance budget
Provide appropriate documentation to justify all expenses incurred in spare parts, materials, equipment, outsourced services
Participate in cross-functional meetings with Supply Chain colleagues and other functions to review, discuss and plan operational issues
Lead/work on other assignments and special projects as assigned by the Maintenance Manager and/or the company’s Management Team

Job Requirement
Diploma or above in Mechanics or Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or Production Maintenance or Electrical or Mechanical Maintenance or related fields
Minimum of 6 years of work experience in similar roles
Skills in Plumbing, carpentry, masonry, mechanical/electrical and construction work,
Standard business office software/knowledge of ERP systems is a plus,
Team player, flexible, analytical, problem solving and organizational skills, self-starter,
Perform tasks in a tight deadline,
