The Program Manager reports to the Managing Director and Operations Manager.
The Program Manager is part of Includovate’s management team. They will be a coordinator between multiple projects to ensure resource optimisation, economies of scale and alignment with overall business goals.
They will work with researchers on national and global projects, to plan and implement their assignments on time and budget. You will be a team player willing to do anything to help the social enterprise grow.
1. Strategy & Business Development
a. Contributes to the development and execution of organisational goals.
b. Supports senior leadership to develop relevant business relationships.
c. Identifies opportunities for innovation and business process improvement.
d. Contributes to proposal development by identifying resource constraints/opportunities, planning timelines and conducting risk assessments.
2. Project Coordination
a. Attends project kick-off meetings and participates in any other client-facing communications, as needed.
b. Maintains bird’s eye visibility over all projects across the business to ensure timely execution and project profitability.
c. Monitors project risks and take risk mitigation actions as necessary.
d. Collaborates with project leads to adequately respond to at-risk deliverables, including re-directing resources from one project to another, liaising with clients, and personally lending assistance where necessary.
e. Supports Institutional Review Board (IRB) as necessary to ensure timely project delivery.
f. Periodically communicate with senior leadership and escalate issues, where appropriate.
g. Conduct post hoc evaluations of projects with a view to ensure client-centric delivery.
3. Quality Assurance & Research
a. Conducts appropriate quality assurance on deliverables to ensure professional and engaging presentation of information, sound analysis and defensible conclusions.
b. Where necessary, undertakes research duties associated with one or more research projects, including literature reviews and analysis, fieldwork and other data collection, monitoring and evaluation, data analysis and drafting research reports.
c. Helps on ad hoc tasks and assignments, such as recruitment.
· Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent qualifications) in anthropology, business, demography, development studies, economics, education, environmental studies, gender & sexuality, geography, history, law, management, philosophy, planning, political science, psychology, public administration, public or global health, religious studies, sociology, statistics and/or sustainability.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.
· Strong math, organization, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
· Fluency in English, Amharic, and ideally a third language. Preferably and Ethiopian regional language (e.g. Tigringa, Somalinga, Sidamanga, Wolayttanga, Guragenga, and Afarnga).
· Project management qualification (e.g. PRINCE2, Scrum, PMP) preferred.

Gross Monthly Salary: ETB30,000
