Job Purpose:
Assist the General Accounting & Taxes Manager with the financial recording and reporting processes, including transaction posting, financial report creation and liaison with external auditors and concerned authorities. Prepare/support timely tax reporting and payments. Execute payroll process, reporting and payments.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Execute timely processing, posting and reporting of financial transactions (including those related to payroll, taxes, fixed assets)
Ensure proper filing, storage and safeguard of all documents related to transactions, including financial reports, forms and related supporting documents
Coordinate with Accounting and Finance staff to ensure proper use of accounting and Enterprise Resource Planning systems, accurate posting of transactions; and to develop ongoing improvements to the financial systems;
Execute the financial statement preparation process (monthly, quarterly, annual basis), and any other “ad-hoc” reporting activity, as needed
Liaise with external auditors as needed
Provide ad-hoc analysis and financial reporting, work on cross-functional projects with other departments, and advise company staff on the appropriate reporting and posting of non-routine transactions;
Maintain Fixed Assets Register
Enhance technical knowledge by staying up-to-date with financial regulations and accepted practices, participating in various developmental opportunities;
Work on other assignments and special projects as assigned by the General Accounting & Taxes Manager and/or the company’s Management Team;

Job Requirement
Bachelor degree or above in Accounting, Finance, Economics or related field
Minimum of 5 years of experience in corporate finance (retail/FMCG experience considered a plus)
Standard business office software (knowledge of ERP systems is a plus)
Very strong numerical and accounting skills
Solid financial analysis ability
Strong presentation, communication and negotiation skills
Team player
Independent work initiative and flexibility
Demonstrated attention to detail with proven accuracy
Proven track record of analytical and problem solving skills
Independently handle multiple tasks/projects with tight deadlines
