Under direction of Warehouse and Transport Manager, ensure an efficient and effective warehouse management and stores facility that enables the inventory management activities to contribute maximum level support to the overall objective of Bedele Brewery SC. The Warehouse Coordinator performs duties related to shipping and receiving, deliveries, coordinating stock, documenting warehouse transactions and maintaining records.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Use the right brand mix which is receiving from the warehouse and transport manager and transport team leader while loading the delivery trucks.
Issue the right vouchers up on receiving and delivering of finished goods and also empty containers as per the company policy.
Follow the inspection process of empty containers by casuals which are coming from the market outlets.
Confirm the documentation of loads reconciled with the physical count & assign casuals to handle the loading & offloading activity effectively.
Arrange the warehouse in a neat and tidy manner & also withdraw full products through FEFO method.
Keep full products, empty containers & also quarantine items on a separated area by making a tag on it.
Continuously follow and report non conformances & also product loss to the warehouse and transport manager.
Based on the empty containers priority received from production, continuously prepare in advance the required empty containers for production which are coming from market.
Taking and reporting count of stocks daily to both the transport team leader and also the warehouse and transport manager in a consistence manner.
Supervise & initiate bottle sorting operations inside the warehouse.
Compile every vouchers and also store documentations such as stock availability, stock adjustment and also stock taking.
Performance management - On-going, informal performance monitoring, feedback and coaching provided daily or as required for warehouse assistants
Manage the forklifts in a way facilitate the (un)loading of full products and RPMs from trucks and delivery/ collecting of RPM/Full products to/from production floor
Arrange each row by brand flavors, production and BBF date
Check proper usage of PPE by employees and agency workers.
Manage the team work and provide the proper guidance
Coordinate with various departments for market returns and quality blocked goods.
Separate quickly quality defective goods in stock and ensure that they are not picked
Lead 5S implementation in all the Harar warehouse
Report critical problem areas and improvement opportunities
Provide information in a clear, concise and impactful manner
Organize timely and accurate data gathering for warehousing reports preparation and distribution
Ensure that empties and full products are stored safely and with high level security in adherence to the company warehousing standards and safety policies.
Perform the daily cycle count without delay and per the times set for the task.
Check for damages/shortages stock levels and prepare report. Compiles and submit the daily, monthly, etc…. reports timely.
Ensure ways to improve loading and routing of the trucks
Ensure operations comply with 5S principles
Minimize or avoid conditions that can cause deterioration in the quality of the beer, damage it, or damage its packaging and implement processes for efficient and timely report
Ensure that accurate stock records (Bin Cards) of materials received, issued and in storage are maintained and see that the posting are up to date.
Ensure that all documents relating to receipts and issues are sent to finance and other concerned departments.
Perform stock verification in accordance
Take inventory for the materials periodically and report if there is any discrepancy.
Train and empower subordinates
Perform any other similar activities as instructed by Warehouse and Transport Manager.

Additionalcriteria:
Qualification: BA Degree in Purchasing and supplies Management, Management, Accounting, Economics or in other related field of study from a recognized University
Experience: 1 year relevant work experience
Sound knowledge of the methods, techniques, practices, in store areas and inventory system of each stock.
An awareness of safety, health and environment issues
Knowledge on stock management and record keeping
Proactive approach to preventive and curative of any stock.
Planning, supervising and inspecting the work of others.
Good communication skills and have good team sprit
Up-to-date knowledge of developments and a methodical approach to solving problems
