DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES |
· Assists the Procurement Manager in planning, sourcing, and executing all purchasing activities · Based on general direction of Procurement Manager, the procurement officer plans, organizes, and executes the day-to-day purchase of materials and services. · Initiates the timely submission of different work units’ need for various goods/items necessary for their day to day operation. · Prepares monthly, quarterly and annual purchasing plan and implement upon approval of the Procurement Manager. · Assists and participate in bid preparation and selection of suppliers · Ensures that all foreign and local purchases are in compliance with regulations and laws related to purchasing practices and Ahadukes’ standard practices; · Makes close follow of status of foreign purchase and shipments; organize and coordinate the timely and safe arrival of foreign goods through effective networking with customs, banks, insurance, shipping lines, and airlines. · Follows up the turnover of stock goods/items per the need request of various work units and takes appropriate action. · Prepares and maintains accurate records and documentation on all purchases, contracts, and list of current and potential suppliers, correspondence and other related matters. · Prepares monthly report on procurement performance · Performs other related duties as assigned. |
