The Human Resources Officer will be responsible to manage entire Human Resources & Industrial Relation functions of the plant. He will also take care of fulfilling all the legal issues as stated in the labor law of Ethiopia. The Activities expected to be accomplished are:-
To have effective manpower planning and ensure availability of the people for all functions.
To source & recruit right people.
To conduct Induction program of all new joinees.
To conduct training on various topics in line with job requirement
To prepare employee development plan and implement the same
To conduct periodical employee performance reviews
To formulate and execute various employee policies.
To fulfil Statutory Compliances under various labour/employee laws.
To have effective liaison with Government/ Social authorities
To ensure discipline & harmonious Industrial Relations
To ensure proper Security/ Canteen/Housekeeping/Transportation services, etc and other administrative function.
To monitor HR effectiveness through various parameters.
Job Requirement
The candidate should be a BA graduate in Management, or relevant social science field and should have a minimum of eight years relevant experience preferably in labor management of industrial projects.
