Supervise and provide technical leadership to the responsible Quality Inspectors placed in the construction sites so as to ensure all construction work is executed to the highest quality, safety, and environmental standards.
Ensure that all construction contracts are managed according to IRD and client specifications and project schedules and deadlines are met.
Provide Quality Control/Quality Assurance related technical direction, guidance and oversight on all construction activities. Trouble-shoot field issues as they arise and provide timely, cost-effective solutions.
Responsible for the successful quality execution of all construction activities while meeting QA/QC, safety, and environmental compliance standards.
Performs other duties as assigned by IRD EHIP COP
Produce timely reports as per contract obligations and program requirements.

Required Skills & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Construction Engineering with 10+ years or Master’s degree in Civil or Construction Engineering 8+ years and experience working on the design, implementation, and management of Quality Assurance systems.
Demonstrated knowledge of International Building Codes and experience working on building construction projects, preferably health clinics, hospitals or similar structures.
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
Experience working with USAID and other international development agencies and donors.
Demonstrable supervisory skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively with independently and as part of a team.
Excellent report writing skills.
Ability to work well in a fast-paced and changing environment.
Excellent analytical, problem solving, decision making and crisis control.
