Position: Storekeeper
Number required- 2(two)
Location – Shire Field Office- Adi-Harush and May-Ayni Refugee camp
Length of Employment - Definite
Salary & benefits – 4,358.00 – 4,805.00 ETB /month, based on the candidate’s qualification, experience and previous earning history, plus 30% of hardship allowance with 27% Provident Fund & Pension employer/employee contribution.

Position Overview
Reporting to Supply Chain officer, the store keeper is responsible for ensuring the overall warehouse activities and warehouse management. The store keeper must be proactive on delivering the necessary tasks as required.
SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES:
Key Tasks:
• Understand, implement and / or maintain standard IRC inventory management policies and procedures.
• Manage and document the receipt, handling, storage, release and reporting of goods through the IRC warehouse(s).
• Advise supervisor of potential inventory shortage.
• Ensure the maintenance of warehouse building(s), fittings and equipment.
• Implement and ensure clear safety procedures.
• Implement and ensure clear loading / unloading procedures, correct stacking and turnover (FIFO) procedures.
• Advise the Supply Chain Manager/coordinator of warehouse-specific issues or improvements
• Maintain the Warehouse activity book recording all outgoing and incoming receipts and activities.
• Controls the overall operation of the storehouses
Warehousing and Inventory
• Monitor security of IRC’s storage and supplies.
• Receive completed store’s request forms and prepare the goods for issuance.
• Ensure goods, equipment are signed for received on the request form (office expendables) or waybill (all other items).
• Prepare a monthly report for the expendables store outlining all stock movements and remaining balances.
• On a monthly basis, work with the Supply Chain manager to reconcile the Warehouse register in the Asset tracking sheet and equipment issuance forms.
• Update the stock record cards and bin cards regularly.
• Conduct routine inventory inspection and submit report to the Supply Chain Coordinator in a timely manner.
Expected Deliverables:
• Maintain full and accurate inventory records.
• Undertake (documented) monthly and ad-hoc physical inventory checks.
• Provide on-time, standard monthly reports to the supply Chain Manager.
Qualification and required work experience:
• Diploma or Degree in Business Management/Management, Accounting, Purchasing and Supplies management or related fields of study with Minimum 3/2 years of experience for diploma/degree
• Knowledge of supply chain operations, generic warehouse management systems and form.
• Competent use of PC especially spreadsheets (format / sort / filter)
• Proven skills in Procurement and Warehouse operations and arithmetical skills
• Excellent English, Amharic comprehension and communication skills
• INGO experience is advantageous
