Organic Liquid Fertilizer Producing PLC is a private limited company established through the innovative agricultural input named EcoGreen to involve in the manufacturing and distribution of organic fertilizers as well as in the production of organic farm. OrgLF pro.Plc invites interested, qualified, experienced and articulate senior Agronomist to manage the overall agronomic sales activities.
Senior Agronomist is responsible for the overall activities undertaken in fertilizer sales and distribution.
Duties and responsibilities:
Prepare marketing segmentation and design sales strategies;
Develop and deliver an approximately training session in the Principles of Marketing to several groups of agents.
Work with commercial and small scale grower’s to create demand, aggregation and marketing capacity for their primary crops, assess various market opportunities;
Identify potential agro-commodity production areas and create market corner;
Undertake continuous fertilizer trial on different crop types;
Product delivery management;
Provide professional and agronomic advice to loyal customers;
Represent the office on different workshops and work in collaboration with stakeholders;
Work in collaboration with subordinate departments;

Qualifications and experience required
A Bachelor’s degree in plant science, Horticulture and having business, marketing, economics other relevant discipline is an advantage.
At least 3 years of professional work experience in agro-marketing or sales.
Experience in agricultural input and commercial farm markets. Deep experience in the agronomic practices of commercial crops will be an advantage.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including fluency in English and Amharic. Proficiency in Oromiffa is an advantage.
Strong skills in business software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc and web site management skill)
