Organic Liquid Fertilizer Producing PLC is a private limited company established through the innovative agricultural input named EcoGreen to involve in the manufacturing and distribution of organic fertilizers as well as in the production of organic farm. OrgLF pro.Plc invites interested, qualified, experienced and articulate Accountant to manage the financial section.
POSITION MANADATE: Under the general direction of the G/Manager the accountant performs assigned tasks in the Company. In this capacity the incumbent will maintain books of accounts for petty cash expenses and work closely with the side managers and site staffs to ensure that all functions get appropriate level of financial and administrative support and accounting work as mentioned here below under Key Responsibilities. This post also requires frequent interactions with all customers, coordination of workshops, events and contacts.

As an Accountant:
Prepare complete, accurate and timely financial reports and submit to the General Manager.
Ensure proper approval for all payment requests in accordance with company’s financial plan.
Handles all bank matters including bank reconciliation and bank deposits.
Ensure day to day financial data processing/posting on time and keep all accounts are current and up-to-date.
Prepare payroll and ensure timely salary payments to staffs.
Prepare and review business & travel advance requests & ensure timely settlement and resource management.
Involve in budget preparation, cash flow analysis, budget management and control in collaboration with other sections.
Prepare the pre-audit preparation process for the internal and external audit and ensure implementation of audit recommendations.
Ensure in maintaining monthly and annual fixed asset inventory register of the company.
Handle petty cash and updating and reconciling the petty cash register/books daily.
Maintain and reconcile inventory and other supplies regularly.
Maintain a cheque register and ensuring that vendors or service providers acknowledge receipts for all payments made.
Work jointly with personnel.
Other related duties as assigned.
Job Requirement
Minimum Relevant BA degree in Accounting.
A minimum of 1 years experience in manufacturing area of financial position as well as Accounting
Knowledge of non-government organization sector is an asset.
Experience with record keeping, budgeting, purchasing, inventory control;
Strong organization and time management skills - able to organize own work and office procedures;
Demonstrated flexibility with changing demands and priorities of the job;
A multi-tasker demonstrated initiative, willingness and ability to create and apply new methods and techniques to performance of work;
Takes prompt action to accomplish objectives, takes action to achieve goals beyond what is required and is proactive;
Sensitivity in handling/discerning confidential matters;
Peachtree accounting and demonstrated computer skills– MS Office (Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint is an asset) and Internet user skills;
