The Marketing and Business Development Manager is accountable to the CEO of the company and will be responsible for managing the company’s Sales and Marketing department. The position holder will be expected to:
1. Design efficient distribution channels and route plan to effectively manage the company’s existing sales force 2. Create and maintain strong and effective new brands and employ various brand management skills to increase our existing product's perceived value to the customer and thereby increase brand equity 3. Generate growth and expansion ideas including regional market penetration plans and prepare a strategic business plan for the short, medium and long term 4. Visualize the overall direction of the business and the market and report performances accurately and regularly
Required Competence and Qualities
1. Proven track record in successful marketing and sales of products, preferably FMCGs 2. Capable of conducting market analysis, evaluation of market share, selecting target markets and set appropriate segmentation 3. Hands-on experience in brand development and corporate and brand image building 4. Capable of measuring and evaluating profitability of marketing efforts using appropriate marketing and financial metrics

Job Requirement
Educational Background: B.A. Degree in Marketing and preferably MBA with a specialization in Marketing, Management or Finance. Extensive training in brand management, strategic planning and management techniques will be an asset.
Experience: 7 years and above in Marketing, Sales or Management Consultancy out of which 5 years must be in managerial position.
