Scrum Master / Office Manager
Scrum is a modern system in which teams self-organize in order to ensure that the work is described well, in order to provide good estimates of the cost and time needed to complete tasks, and in order to track progress towards meeting deadlines for the sake of the team, business owners, and clients.
The scrum master will:
Keep everything going smoothly
Unblock anyone who is blocked
Recognize team inefficiencies and help improve team performance
Communicate with other teams on behalf of the team
Take small distracting tasks from the implementation team
Organize all team meetings
Make sure the Product Owner is keeping the backlog in order
Keep the burn-down chart up to date
Keep a full history of tasks, chores, and unplanned tasks in order to calculate velocity.
The successful applicant will get on the job training to understand scrum management
Additional Responsibilities
Appear in all team standup meetings and take a good notes every morning
Collect weekly reports from each team and file
Provide administrative support to CEO
Collect and analyze information; Initiate communication
Organize all activities in the organization
Complete timesheets on a monthly basis to provide to Finance for payroll preparation;
Arrange travel, meetings and appointments;
Perform general clerical duties to include but not limited to: photocopying, faxing, mailing, maintaining and filing both hard copies & electronic systems
Schedule and coordinate meetings, interviews, appointments, events and other similar activities for supervisors, which also include travel and lodging arrangements.
Fast learner and highly organized
BA Degree in Marketing Management, Management, Business Administration or other related field of study.
Excellent written and oral communication skills and fluency in English language.
0 - 2 years work experience.
Computer literate, experience working on different software.
