To manage Raya Brewery S.C. payroll operations, ensuring that each stage of the payroll process is properly done, and all staff are paid correctly.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
To input data relating to staff payments onto Raya Brewery integrated payroll-HR database on a regular basis, ensuring that staff are paid on time and receive the correct payments. Other staffs in HR Services update post and appointment data onto the HR data system.
To ensure that correct payments, reports and returns are made and to provide governmental bodies the appropriate information on pay, as required.
To act as line manager to the Senior Payroll Officer, ensuring that Raya Brewery employment policies and governmental rules are properly followed.
To liaise closely with colleagues in Financial Services, ensuring that monthly reconciliations for budget control purposes are undertaken.
To participate in projects to develop the integrated payroll-HR database, taking a lead on identifying possible improvements to the system and playing a key role in implementing agreed changes.
Any other duties appropriate to the grade, as required by the Human Resource Manager.
Job Requirement
QUALIFICATION:
BA Degree in Accounting and Finance or related filled of study
WORK EXPERIENCE:
minimum of 3 years experience preferably in manufacturing industry out of which at least 2 years experience is in payroll preparation
LANGUAGE SKILLS:
Very good command of English and Amharic
COMPUTER SKILLS:
good command of MS Office word , Excel and power point
