Organize and manage the routine work activities of an HR department office and provide clerical services to the human resources staff members.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Prepare mail, schedules, contracts, and reports for the Manager of human resources and other department staff members.
Compile pertinent data as needed when preparing various state, and reports.
Initiate and maintain physical and computerized departmental files for all employees and applicants including verification of completeness of files and other document.
Develop and maintain recruiting materials and displays.
Coordinate annual distribution of the employee handbook.
Organize and compile materials for new employee orientation.
Assist with distribution of employment contracts.
Perform routine bookkeeping tasks, including simple arithmetic operations, for the department.
Prepare and process purchase orders for human resources department.
Answer and respond to incoming calls, take reliable messages, and route to appropriate staff.
Greet visitors and assist employees and applicants with completing applications and required Paperwork.
Prepare ID badges for employees.
Make travel arrangements for department.
Receive, sort, and distribute mail and other documents to department staff as needed.
Maintain confidentiality of information.
Other duties as assigned.
Job Requirement
QUALIFICATION:
B.A Degree in Secretarial science, management, Human Resources Management, Business Management, Business Administration and related filled of study
WORK EXPERIENCE:
4 years’ experience in related area
LANGUAGE SKILLS:
Very good command of English and Amharic and preferably knowledge of the local language
COMPUTER SKILLS:
Good command of MS Office suite (including Project and Power Point) and AutoCad
Good knowledge of ISO Systems
SPECIAL SKILLS
Ability to prepare reports, proposals ,policies and procedures
