The Executive Secretary reports to the Managing Director and is responsible for providing senior level secretarial and clerical services for the Managing Director.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Receive, direct and relay telephone messages and fax messages
Direct the general public to the appropriate staff member
Maintain the general filing system and file all correspondence
Assist in the planning and preparation of meetings, conferences and conference telephone calls
Make preparations for committee meetings
Maintain an adequate inventory of office supplies
Respond to public inquiries
Provide word-processing and secretarial support
Type confidential documents on a word processing system
Assist the Managing Director as requested
Provide administrative services for the Managing Director
The position holder must have proficient knowledge in the following areas:

Job Requirement
QUALIFICATION:
BA Degree in Secretarial Science and Office Management, Business Administration or related fields
WORK EXPERIENCE:
a minimum of 5 years of experience as a secretary or assistant to a Senior Manager
LANGUAGE SKILLS:
Very good command of English and Amharic
COMPUTER SKILLS:
good command of MS Office word , Excel and power point
