Summary of Job Description: This post holder will be responsible for all activities focused on strengthening the capacity of and coordinating with MoFA. This includes the development and refinement of appropriate capacity assessment tools, in consultation with MoFA. He/she will lead the administration of the tool, the subsequent decisions around prioritization of support requirements and the development of an institutional support plan. S/he will be involved in coordinating support interventions, monitoring progress against the plan and ensuring documentation of progress and key learning as it relates to the systems strengthening component of the project. He/she will directly report to the DCOP and will be required to coordinate activities with the input of the other relevant SIPED II managers and directors. The post holder will also supervise the day-to-day work of PDC and will be supported by two systems strengthening officers.

~~Person Specification A. Education: B.A/M.A degree in Management, economics, development studies or related social science fields. B. Experience: • Minimum of 8/6 years of relevant work experience in the area of capacity building experience with civil society and/or government. • The post holder must have a minimum of 5 years of capacity development experience with civil society and/or Government. • Must have demonstrable experience of working with local NGOs. • Demonstrated experience of working with government structures. • Must have project management experience ( minimum of 3 years). • Proven management support
