Direct sales coordinator As direct sales coordinator you will be responsible for managing the direct sales deals between growers in Ethiopia and customers worldwide. The sourcing of the flowers is one of your main tasks plus the coordination of the supply to the international markets.
You will work closely together with Ethiopian growers, international customers and FloraHolland colleagues in the Netherlands and our local office in Kenya.
Key duties and responsibilities As direct sales coordinator your main responsibilities will be to take care of all administrative and coordinating efforts for the:
Direct sales:
Be the contact person for our member growers and maximize their customer satisfaction for direct sales needs.
Receive direct sales requests from growers and follow the direct sales procedures to find suitable buyers (in collaboration with counterparts in the Netherlands).
Deliver excellent communications and administrations to support the direct sales.
Daily communication with the growers / building a business relationship with the growers.
Check (pro-forma) invoices and forward to finance department.
Pro-actively sourcing of products in Ethiopia to customers.
Direct sourcing:
Be the contact person for the assigned (foreign) buyers and seek maximize their customer satisfaction by fulfilling their sourcing needs.
Communicate enquiries from clients to growers.
Deliver excellent communications and administrations to support the sourcing.
Pro-actively source for products requested by assigned buyers.
Daily communication with the growers / building a business relationship with the growers and buyers.
Check (pro-forma) invoices and forward to finance department.
Re-allocation of customer orders to other growers in case of shortage.
Decision making and authority level:
Conduct price bargains on behalf of buyers and sellers within the defined limits.
Mediate with price bargains.
Job Requirement
Academic and professional Qualifications and experience required:
University diploma in marketing.
At least 3 years working experience in a sales role.
Exposure to international markets is an added advantage.
Additional competencies required:
Excellent communication and mediation skills.
Excellent command of both oral and written English.
Strong administrative skills with attention to detail.
Basic knowledge and experience in logistics management and commercial operations.
Analytical and logical approach to problem solving.
Pro-active, professional attitude and hands-on mentality.
