PATH is currently implementing a maternal and child health project in Dodota and Wuchalle Woreda of Oromia region and would like to hire data collectors for an assessment that will be conducted from November-December 2014.
The Data Collector will be responsible for:
Participate in the training and field implementation of the data collection
Conduct questionnaire based interviews with selected women from the community
Participate in the daily de-brief sessions with field team and colleagues
Ensure the security of data in the field and in the office
Maintain regular contact with the supervisor on daily basis
Maintain a good behavior in the field
Handover all field notes to the supervisor
Abide to all data collection ethics and procedures
Work at least 8 hours per day
Job Requirement
Required skills
BA in Public Health/health related area
Prior experience in data collection
Fluent in Oromiffa and Good knowledge of English language
Should have good written and verbal communication skills and should speak politely to the people
