Position Title: Deputy Chief of Party/Operations, Joint Emergency
Operation (JEOP)
Duty Station: Addis Ababa
Contract duration: Indefinite period contingent upon funding of JEOP
Reports To: Chief of Party - JEOP

2. Key /Specific Duties and Responsibilities:
2.1 JEOP Management Responsibilities
General
Provide on-going supervision, support, and guidance to JEOP activities to ensure appropriate project implementation, monitoring, reporting, and evaluation;
Produce monthly pipeline updates, bi-weekly commodity distribution updates as well as bi-annual and annual financial and narrative reports for the consumption of donors and government;
Facilitate information exchange with JEOP partners, including regular meetings to ensure a close working relationship between CRS/ET and JEOP partners in the area of emergency response programs;
Coordinate and monitor the JEOP resource allocation in close collaboration with the logistics department, and as per donor requirements;
Liaise directly with the Government of Ethiopia’s Disaster Risk Management and Food Security Sector (DRMFSS) in planning monthly distributions, disaster response and other program activities; and
Supervise the Sub-grants Program Officer in management and reporting of CRS’ local partners in the JEOP.
