Job Requirement
Required qualifications, qualities and experiences: The senior editor is responsible to polishes, refines, read and proof to detect and correct errors in spelling, punctuation, and syntax the proposals and official documents of the organization. He/she enhances the major points, drawing attention to places where the donors and stakeholders should focus. She/he is also responsible for the type of content produced by the proposal development team. The senior editor is responsible for maintaining consistency, readability, accuracy and ensuring the content’s quality. The incumbent is also responsible in designing, laying-out and editing proposals, reports and documents. She /he is also expected independently conducting in-depth research and rapidly producing written briefs and research findings in support of the team, contribute thoughtfully to help improve proposals, research processes and projects, think creatively and bring fresh, new ideas to write projects.
Excellent grammar, spelling skills, writing and verbal communications skills
Possess an eye for detail and be very accurate in his work
Research skills across multiple disciplines is beneficial
Highly self-motivated, well organized and a committed team member
Qualification: BA or MA Degree in Foreign Language or other appropriate fields from recognized university.
Experience: Minimum of five years experience for BA degree or three years for MA Degree working on preferably in proposal writing or editing role. Native speaker of English language is preferable. Communication: Excellent communication skills with the staff is mandatory.
