Position Title: Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability and Learning (MEAL)
Officer – WASH/GRAD
Duty Station: Addis Ababa
Contract duration: Indefinite period
Reports to: Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability and Learning Program Manager
I. Job Summary:
The MEAL Project Officer will be responsible for finalizing the design of, and implementing and managing the WASH/GRAD M&E system building on earlier work, including the recent Simple Measurements of Indicators for Learning and Evidence based Reporting (SMILER) M&E system development coaching week. He/she will be focal person for the Information Communication Technology for Development (ICT4D) initiatives for the project within CRS Ethiopia. He/she will work closely with Country Program ICT4D Advisor, East Africa Regional Office (EARO) and HQ ICT4D team to set up and operate supportive computerized system for the project, facilitate learning in reflective events and manage communication of M&E findings on time. The Officer will support and develop MEAL capacities of partner staff and primary stakeholders for managing and implementation of SMILER. S/he will be responsible to ensure CRS Ethiopia meets donors’ M&E requirements.

Completion of 2nd Degree in (Social or Natural Science) or 1st Degree in (Social or Natural Science)
