Under the supervision of Program Operation Manager, HR and Admin Coordinator is responsible to Plans, organizes, coordinates and monitors the activities of HR, administration and including logistics and vehicle operation, supplies and procurement, security and office management, and warehouse management; ensures proper implementation of the organization’s policies and procedures including Finance, Admin and HR manual. S/He will ensures the availability of required cash for all operations; follows up the preparation of regular reports to the project management, program sector heads, government and others as needed. The coordinator will be the contact person in the area of Finance, Admin and HR reason for the sub office
More over, the incumbent will be responsible to take a lead in overall HR related issues providing hands-on practical human resource support for managers, with a focus on rapid recruitment and selection of high calibre staff. The coordinator is also responsible for consulting with managers and supervisors about policies and procedures. S/he helps employees and their managers in performance and disciplinary matters. It will be part of the responsibility of the position holder to have field visit around 50% of his/her time to provide sound human resource management for the field office and ensure the compliance of HR policy and practice. During Emergency Response, the Coordinator will actively participate as a member of the Emergency Response Team and be the HR focal point for all emergency HR activities.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED To be considered for the post applicant must have bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management, Business Management or equivalent or related field with 5 years of related experience with a history of increasing roles and responsibilities as well as prior supervisory experience. S/He must have strong management skills including analytical skills, judgement and decision making; highly developed communication skills both written and verbal in order to establish effective relationships with a wide variety of internal and external audiences, including at a geographical distance; and Ability to think strategical, identify the HR implications of the organisation's plans and to respond with an integrated HR approach. Applicant must have detailed knowledge of Ethiopian employment law and models of good employment practice; ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines. Incumbent must have be willing to travel regularly and in difficult circumstances and able to be temporarily assigned whenever there is gap at field level.
