Position Title: Food Monitor
Duty Station: Adama, Borena, Dire Dawa, Mekelle and Kombolcha
Employment term: Indefinite period contingent upon funding of the JEOP program
Reports To: Food Monitoring Team Leader
Summary of Duties and Responsibilities:
As a Food Monitor, you will:
• Monitor JEOP consortium members and DFAP partners (MCS & HCS) for compliance with JEOP minimum standards and USAID regulations per the agreements signed with each partner. Monitoring activities typically involve distributions, warehousing, and end-use checks.
• Monitor and check the activities of centers/sites, distributing US Government commodities supplied by CRS.
• Document all monitoring activities as per the reporting guidelines. Verbally update the Team Leader regarding any serious issues or findings. Please note: field monitors may be rotated to different monitoring hubs outside of their duty station, based upon need.

Minimum education and work experience:
Completion of 1st Degree (Social or Natural Science), and 3 years of relevant experience.
