Job Description ROLE PURPOSE: To ensure that sustainable quality systems are implemented on Site in order to achieve a standardized and uniform cutting meeting customer requirements. This will be achieved by monitoring, evaluating and continuously improving farm systems from a quality perspective. Scope of which covers all inputs, processes and outputs to the production process. Together with this the role will ensure that the Site is working to all internal & external protocols, thus being fully compliant for all audits.
ACCOUNTABILITIES: A) Primary tasks
Manage & control all the Quality Management Systems (QMS) of the site in accordance with the protocols.
Establish, review & update the protocols as necessary.
Manage the implementation of all required protocols both internal & external.
Manage, document, analyze & control the compliance to internal & external protocols.
Assign objectives and KPI’s to the QMS’s in order to follow, control & improve them
Determine if the exported products comply with the specifications required by the customers. If not ensure that corrective actions are taken by alignment with the protocol.
Manage & analyze the technical data related to Quality to ensure continuous improvement.
Manage all internal & external audits to ensure compliance and certification standards are met.
Manage the input of QMS master data to ensure that it is accurate, relevant and concise.
Good and timely reporting of QMS KPI data to the relevant Dept. Managers & Site Manager on a weekly & monthly basis or as required.
Manage the Quality Control System (QCS) in order to capture the number of products rejected, those that were overrides, complaints and claims from customers and customer satisfaction.
Manage the traceability of the farms products in conjunction with the relevant Depts.
Manage the RCA process for all quality aspects of the Site, ensuring stakeholder participation.
Set action plan with each Department Manager to respect protocol and standards.
Overview of corrective actions to perform and support implementation.
Confirm / challenge standards with proper structure and aligned with managers
Clear accountability for each protocol.
All protocols on reliance.
Establish together with the Dept. Managers the corrective actions from both internal, external audits, inspections and protocols together with a timeline for implementation
Organize and manage the internal audits (non-financial) every 6 months.
Organize and manage the external audits (Global Gap & EHPEA etc.) ensuring compliance.
Deliver overview to site manager and propose an adjustment plan.
Have dash board set for each critical quality production factor.
Assure the link and alignment with KECU, Pollen and global (have similar standards).
Audit determination of ready to harvest URC’s (accuracy of capacity) and index keeping.
Audit the actual capacity is matching between the system and field.
Assure accuracy of all recording activity and data capture in scouting activities within a production area.
Comply with allocated budget.
Job Requirement
KNOWLEDGE SKILLS & EXPERIENCE: Qualifications.
M.sc in Quality Management / Occupational Health Safety & Environment.
Critical Knowledge
QMS design and implementation.
Protocol formation & implementation.
Capacitated as an internal auditor/inspector as per the Global Gap requirement.
