Analyze the quality of raw materials, intermediate products and finished product.
Make sure the quality parameters are maintained in all processes.
Key accountability and main related activity 1. Execute daily activities as per the sampling plan Related Activities:
Work within company-established safety standards. `Safety First`
Analyse quality of direct raw materials, i.e Malt, sugar ,Hops water and auxiliary chemicals
Analysing the quality of intermediate products, like brew water ,Grist ,Mash ,Wort ,Last run ,cellar ,DAW, bright beer, unpasteurized beer etc…
Analysing quality of treated water , treated waste water , boiler water ,CIP chemicals for FSTs, YST, BBTs, Bottle washer, Keg cleaning and soaking baths.
Measurement and analysis on PU, Crimp Test, empty bottle inspection, co2 purity, cooling alcohol in the system, incoming water etc…
Compiling reports and forward to the process owners with the necessary recommendation OTIF.
Quality checks on packaging materials.
Quality checks of incoming raw, packaging, auxiliary materials.
Involve in filling the gaps to fulfil the Heineken requirements and standards.
Perform the Ring Analyses and report OTIF.
Maintains confidential information not expose to unintended use.
Work in a team environment and be able to meet daily production goals without compromising Quality.
Take quality control measurements, record and act upon deviations and trends in consultation and collaboration with relevant departments` staffs.
2. Checking the operation of the different processes periodically Related activies:
Check for the packaging quality, filling volume, TFG and FG-HS,
Check for temperature of bottle washer
Check for temperature of Pasteurizer, PU, timing etc.
Check for the GHK of packaging , brew house ,fermentation ,and filtration area
Be able and willing to work a variable shift schedule that is dependent upon the operational needs of the brewery.
Handle and report results of Customer complaints.
3. Maintain GHK in QC Related activities:
Controlling and monitoring the calibration of the measuring equipment’s
Controlling and handling chemicals safely & responsibly
Keep the measuring equipment and work area clean and orderly
Carry out data analysis and forward summary with conclusion and recommendation to stake holders
Aware operators on the effect of process deviation
Operate and maintain laboratory equipment in an accurate and safe way
Organize the workplace according to the 5S standards.
Active participation in the Lab star system for the brewery
4. Control and manage the packaging resources Related activities:
Budget the right amount of reagents and glassware for the budget year in coordination with team leader.
Prepares and registers daily/weekly/ monthly usage report of reagents.
Inspect measuring equipment and calibrate as per manufacturer`s manual
Timely request of maintenance for dysfunctional equipment
Register FTEs and other performance issues.
Communicates in-process information to colleagues at shift change. / fulfills the Shift Change protocol/
Report on safety and quality aspects by relevant reporting systems.
Be courteous and professional with team members.
Performs other duties as assigned by immediate boss.
Job Requirement
Education and Experience Required Education: B.Sc. Degree in Chemistry, Biology, or similar field Experience: 1 or 2 years Previous work experience as quality analyst is preferred Language: Good command of English language Willingness to learn and work in both chemico-physical and microbiological positions
