Role Summary
The Regional Training and community mobilization Coordinator, under the guidance and technical and managerial support of the Regional Programme Manager- MMD/MDA, will be responsible for coordinating the implementation of the community mobilization and training aspects of the Regional MMDP/MDA expansion project / programme for trachoma control in 8 zones of Oromia regional state. S/he will be based in Adama and is required to travel extensively to project areas.

Training, and Community Mobilization Coordination
Work closely with other colleagues and health extension workers to transmit effective and focused trachoma prevention messages to the target community

Place Of Work: Adama, with about 70% of the time travel to FHF-E Project Implementation Woredas.

· Demonstrated experience in Trachoma programs in an international NGO setting
Essential attributes and skills requirements
· Proven working experience in coordinating multiple training events.
· Experience in coordinating large scale community mobilization programmes
· Proven ability to complete full training cycle (assess needs, plan, develop, coordinate, monitor and evaluate)
· Familiarity with traditional and modern training methods and techniques
· Familiarity with National Health policy of Ethiopia and Particularly of eye Health
· Ability to work well with others under deadline situations and respond to changes in priorities.
· Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills and strong organizational skills.
· Ability to work independently, take initiative, set priorities and implement programme
· Employ problem-solving skills and analysis.
