Amref Health Africa in Ethiopia had been implementing the project titled: “Improving Maternal, Newborn and Child Health in Pastoralist and Semi Pastoralist Communities of the Omo Valley, Ethiopia.
We are currently seeking a consultant firm to conduct a End Term Evaluation for the above mentioned project.
Objective of the Evaluation
The evaluation attempts to determine, as systematically and objectively as possible, the relevance, efficiency, effectiveness, impact and sustainability of the project. The evaluation will assess the achievements of the project against its stated outcomes, including a re-examination of the relevance of the outcomes and outputs of the project. It will also identify significant factors that hinder/contribute to achievement of the outcomes. As a consequence, the results of this evaluation will be used as a lesson and extraction of knowledge for future program development.
More specifically, the evaluation will focus on addressing the following core areas:
· To assess the relevance, efficiency and effectiveness of the project;
· To assess the projects progress in achieving the set Outcomes and Outputs versus targets;
· To assess the sustainability of project outcomes after the project phase out;
· To extract lessons learned.
