Key Responsibilities
Reporting to the Deputy General Manager, the incumbent is expected to:
Oversee development and implementation of appropriate branding and promotion strategies to ensure sustainable competitive advantage and growth based on the marketing strategy of the company.
Develop the overall marketing strategy of the company and monitor progress of the same.
Measure and analyze performances of each brand vis-à-vis agreed targets/goals
Identify brand elements & benefits that create differentiation & suggest brand positioning
Develop and suggest appropriate media plan such as advertising, sales promotion, giveaways, truck branding, POS, publicity, outdoor ad, sponsorship, exhibitions, event marketing programs etc.
Prepare brand equity measurement and charter that provides relevant guidelines to marketing and sales staff within the company and other partners.
Coordinate new product launching programs and monitor promotional/advertisement campaigns
Analyze and investigate price, contribute to developing pricing strategies to maximize company’s profit while ensuring customer satisfaction
Conduct market research in order to identify market requirements for current and future products/services and profitability of those products/services
Develop an annual marketing plan in conjunction with the sales department. This should detail the year’s activity to meet agreed company objectives
Negotiate contracts with foreign suppliers with a view to attract collaboration on company and product promotion
Monitor competitor activity
Maintain customer databases

Job Requirement
A minimum of 5(five) years experience in marketing/sales, preferably in branding, with a minimum of 3(Three) years in managerial position.
Selling and promoting electronics and home appliance or related products (preferred).
Demonstrable experience in the development and execution of marketing programs based on strategic thinking and consumer insights.
Proven ability in developing and leading teams.
Computer skills : MS Office Package
Good interpersonal , communication and public relation skills
Language: Fluent in Amharic and English
Education
A minimum of first degree in marketing management , Business Administration or related business fields from a recognized university
