Job summary
Head Facilitator Energy is involved with the planning, coordination of community facilitation in the refugee camp and hosting community. They ensure that the energy services are produced efficiently and that the correct amount is produced at the right cost and level of quality.
I. Detailed duties and responsibilities
· Create awareness in the camps on this new technology and including through organizing meetings for the project.
· Conduct carefully formulated mass campaigns and Information, Education and Communication (IEC) messaging.
· Train promoters in community mobilization, as well as briquette usage.
· Manage promoters to enhance interest on this new skill being introduced into the camp.
· Work closely with other energy staff to make the project a success
III. Position Requirements
· B.Sc or Masters Degree in degree in Energy, Engineering, Applied Science natural science/environment or other relevant field preferred.
· Minimum 3 years’ relevant and equivalent level experience working within the energy sector and professional experience regarding environment, preferably in insecure or transitional environments.

o Excellent understanding of local context preferred;
o Demonstrated ability to meet strict deadlines and work independently and cooperatively with team members in a cross-cultural environment.
o Ability to work in hardship conditions.
o Sound understanding of, and technical competence in, the field of energy
o Strong analytical skills
o Experience in project design, project preparation and project report writing
o Proven understanding of project and knowledge management issues
o Highly developed interpersonal, negotiation, influencing and communication skills, with an ability to interact effectively with a range of stakeholders
