Control of Neglected Tropical Diseases: NTD ENVISION

ENVISION is a five-year cooperative agreement through which RTI supports and expands NTD control and elimination in priority countries and will further the development of evidence-based policies and standards globally. ENVISION focuses on five targeted NTDs, lymphatic filariasis, onchocerciasis, schistosomiasis, soil-transmitted helminthiases, and trachoma. Position Summary:
The Supply Chain Technical Advisor (TA) is responsible for providing a wide range of support to the PFSA as it plans to mainstream Neglected Tropical Disease drugs into the essential medicines package. This will include clearance of drugs by the PFSA, storage at PFSA hubs, and distribution to the district health office through the PFSA. The TA will work closely with the PFSA, the FMOH, NTD drug donation programs, and NTD implementation partners to help build a sustainable supply chain management system to maintain the quality, efficacy and safety of the chemo-preventative drugs used during mass drug administration campaigns in accordance with the NTD elimination and control goals.
