JOB SUMMARY
To ensure high quality programing for SC within the education sector. The post holder is expected to provide technical advice and support to project teams to ensure the achievement of stated objectives. The post holder will also be responsible for ensuring that the lessons derived through implementation of projects are documented for dissemination and fed into strategic development. The Project coordinator will work closely with the Sr. Program Manager and field staff.
KEY AREAS OF ACCOUNTABILITY:
Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in development studies, social sciences or related field;
Good understanding of development, education and social service delivery;
A minimum of five years technical experience in the development field within Ethiopia- preferably Education related;
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
Experience of working with senior government and NGO representatives;;
Proven skills and experience in report writing, proposal design and preparations;
Proven skills and experience in project review, monitoring and evaluation;
Excellent spoken and written English;
Ability and willingness to travel on regular basis;
Ability to work as a team member;
Good training and facilitation skills with a proven ability to build capacity of others ;
Team player with networking abilities at all levels;
Strong organizational, interpersonal, representational, facilitation and communications skills;
Demonstrated skills in training and capacity building through technical assistance and mentoring
