JOB Summary
Under the supervision and guidance of the Fleet Operations Coordinator, the Vehicles Dispatching assistant Officer is responsible for the day to day vehicle allocation for Addis Ababa based staff and visitors.
KEY AREAS OF ACCOUNTABILITY:
Key area - Transportation coordination
Follow up and verify recorded logbook for all journey undertaken, fuel consumed and repair costs
Ensure unauthorized making of any kind, transfer, or signs is not made to any part of the vehicle
Maintains updated and well organized electronic/paper documents on fuel transaction and taxi services
Work closely with the Fleet Coordinator in updating records of privately used extra mileage every month
Prepares periodic reports vehicles usage and submits it to the immediate supervisor
Providing appropriate induction to drivers under supervision and ensure that they follow SCI policies and regulations
Ensures all vehicles dispatched within Addis maintain appropriately filled log book
Prepare periodic fuel transaction reports and submits it in the immediate supervisor and perform other related tasks as required
Propose an efficient way of working and assists in expediting activities when assigned
Ensure all Addis vehicles are neat and clean
Perform any other duties assigned by your immediate supervisor
