GOAL has been working in Ethiopia since 1984 implementing a range of development, resiliency and humanitarian responses - working with street children, pastoralists and rural small holders. Currently GOAL Ethiopia's major funders are USAID/OFDA, ECHO, BPRM, Irish Aid/MAPS, Irish Aid/EHAF, UNOCHA.GOAL currently work in over 25 woredas across four Regions of Ethiopia and we deliver a range of programs including child protection, development, nutrition, emergency relief and rehabilitation. In 2005 GOAL, in partnership with USAID/OFDA, established the Humanitarian Response Programme (HRP) to respond to emergency nutrition situations in Ethiopia.
ABOUT THE ROLE
GOAL Ethiopia is looking for a competent, motivated, experienced Admin and HR Assistant to join the organization. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a dynamic team. You will be joining the organisation at an exciting time of growth and change. You’ll be instrumental in ensuring to work closely with Programme and support staff in field and Head Office.
ABOUT YOU
You'll be an experienced Admin & HR Assistant with humanitarian and development work experience. You'll have a demonstrable exposure for the overall arrangement and security of personnel files at Head Office level including handling timesheet and overall data base management activity in the HR department.
REQUIREMENTS:
· Diploma/BA in Secretarial Science & Office Management, Management or related field with a minimum of 4 years related experience for Diploma holder and 2 years related experience for BA holder, experience in NGO environment is an advantage;
· General management/administration skills;
· Excellent skills in MS Office application, internet and e-mail;
· Very good human relation skills, ability to explain;
· Very good planning & organizing skills, very good orientation to detail;
· High commitment to confidentiality;
· Team oriented, flexible and creative approach; keen to take initiative where appropriate;
· Accountability & responsiveness within areas of responsibilities,
Desirable qualities, Skills and Competences:
· Familiarly to donor guidelines.
· Background in advanced excel/Access/Data management tools.
· Experience and familiarity in personnel administration.
Remuneration & Benefits:
Salary : Birr 5,124.00 per month
Transportation Allowance, 10% of monthly salary and additional 300 birr taxi fare
Medical Allowance - Birr 6500/annum (will be added in your monthly salary)
Pension – 11 % from the employer and 7 % from the employee
