Coordinate the proper implementation of care practices integrated in CMAM and psychosocial/nutritional/WaSH support be provided to the beneficiaries as needed. (Please note: this post is at will serve as a coordinating figure to implement CP approach but in an integrated manner).
Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Ensure mainstreaming and proper implementation of the care practices approach in the CMAM project
2. Provide support to all team members regarding understanding and implementing the program's care practices components:
Provide training on care practices for the team while taking into consideration the integration of other technical inputs CMAM or Nut and WaSH:
Supervise the implementation of care practices:
3. Coordinate activities while integrating CMAM, WaSH and Care Practices
4. Assist the team in identifying BNFs requiring specific monitoring and look for solutions to support the team and the families, in accordance with the situation:
5. Logistics and administrative management for the program
6. Reporting and program development
7. Respect a strict confidentiality
Educational / Professional Background: Preferably with Bachelor’s and in psychology or social work. Relevant training and/or work experience in field of Child Care Practices and Psycho-social support, familiarity with participatory methods, knowledge in child development and nutrition issues. Minimum of 2 years of work – related experience (e.g. psychology, child development, social work) and NGO work- related experience (e.g. child protection, early childhood development, social work, gender) is an asset.

Communication (listening and observation skills) and coordination, experience in team management, project management and training aptitudes, ability to establish good relations with other people, organization and activity supervision skills, capacity to manage priorities, precision, autonomy, creativity, flexibility, good knowledge of the area and local custom, knowledge of the local languages (Oromiffa) is an advantage of the working areas (fluent) and English language (fluent), sense of confidentiality
