Plan International is looking for Procurement Officer for CO to play a vital role in our mission to achieve lasting improvements in the quality of life of deprived children in developing countries.
Working with the team, the post holder is mainly responsible to receive requisitions, collects quotes and routes them to the Logistics Coordinator to prepare purchase orders and monitor/ follows up on the delivery of the goods/services. The Procurement Officer closely works with the Emergency Logistics Coordinator and other program staff with trustworthiness and integrity and with a clear commitment to Plan’s core values and humanitarian principles.

To be successful, you need to have at least Diploma in Purchasing and Supplies Management or Bachelor degree/ in Business Administration/logistics Management or related field. Minimum of 5 years relevant experience for diploma holders and 3 years relevant experience for BA and relevant work experience in INGO environment , particularly in the procurement of both emergency and development programs and substantial experience in procurement.
