The Harvard T.H Chan School of Public Health Department of Global Health and Population, through Harvard Global Research and Support Services, seeks a Country Director for the Fenot project. The Fenot project is assisting the Government of Ethiopia to sustain and improve the effectiveness of its primary health care (PHC) system, which is the main primary health care delivery vehicle for the country, to accelerate the achievement of priority maternal and newborn health and disease control outcomes. Over the next 4 years Fenot will engage with the Federal Ministry of Health (FMOH) and regional health bureaus to introduce innovative solutions to improve upon the investments being made to develop a strong PHC system in Ethiopia. 
 
Fenot project is shaped to place particular focus on the following three major areas identified as best suited to address the challenges to the PHC system:
 
  1. Creating and using evidence for decision-making and policy and strategic program analysis to improve service delivery impact and equity
  2. Strengthen health system financing to assure system development and sustainability
  3. Strengthening primary health care systems with a focus on urban areas and career development for frontline workers
