The company was established in 1980 under the guidance of His Highness Sheikh Saqr Bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, the late ruler of Ras Al Khaimah, and since then Julphar has been delivering high quality, innovative and affordable healthcare solutions to families across the globe.

We employ 5,000 people and distribute our products to more than 50 countries on five continents. Our 16 internationally accredited facilities in Africa, the Middle East and Asia produce more than a million boxes of medicine a day. In 2012, we became one of the world’s largest producers of insulin thanks to our state-of-the-art UAE-based biotechnology facility.
