Center for African Leadership Studies (CALS) which was established in 2012, is one of the leading consulting firms in Ethiopia on a mission to deliver leadership development and communication solutions through numerous strategic and transformational training and consultancies to a range of groups with a contextual and a culturally sensitive approach to inspire, equip and shape a generation of competent leaders across the world.
The overall aim of CALS is to build an indigenous resource for the study of leadership in a distinctively African setting. Based in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, the Center prides itself on its acute sensitivity to cultural differences and ability to build bridges between viewpoints and commitment to integrity, quality, and impact. The entirety of CALS’s training programs and research are uniquely designed to reflect our experiences, and researches have been developed and implemented for the past seven years. The training identifies leadership gaps, promotes long- term positive culture as an essential complement to the more common results-based approaches.
