In Ethiopia IICD is partnering in the project
CommonSense, an innovative project implemented by a public-private partnership between NGOs, private companies and the Ethiopian and Dutch governments. In this project we explore together new business models in the Agriculture and Water sector using satellite data to improve livelihoods of small-scale farmers in Ethiopia. The role of IICD is to facilitate the integration and introduction of smart ICT solutions for farmers to be able to access real-time information as well as the capacity development of target groups to be able to introduce and apply these solutions.
