GOAL has been working in Ethiopia since 1984 implementing a range of multi-sectoral development, resiliency and humanitarian responses. GOAL Ethiopia with its two programmes, the Humanitarian Response and Rural Development Programme is currently working with street children, pastoralists and rural small holders and responds to humanitarian crises in Ethiopia by working closely with local communities, local government and other key actors with a strong emphasis on resiliency, preparedness and longer term impacts. GOAL Ethiopia's major funders are USAID, OFDA, ECHO, BPRM, Irish Aid and UNOCHA.
ABOUT THE ROLE
GOAL Ethiopia is looking for a competent, motivated, experienced worker to join and this is an exciting opportunity to be part of a dynamic team. You will be joining the organization at a moving time of growth and change and you’ll be instrumental in providing support in the delivery of the Program to the organization and its employees.
ABOUT YOU
You'll be an experienced Grant File Documentation Officer who will be responsible to maintain all the programme deliverable documents and closed grant files with appropriate label for easy retrievals.
Requirements: (Educational Qualification and Experience)
· BA degree in accounting or related field with a minimum of two years of related work experience
Key qualities, Skills and Competences: (list of qualities that are considered necessary for the specific post which are believed to be key to the success of the job holder in the specific post):
· IT qualification is a plus advantage.
· Willing and able to create record keeping and tracking systems.
· Ability to analyse and synthesize a Varity of material in a fast – paced environment;
· Ability to work on their own, a self-starter with high energy levels and the capability to work with in a multi-cultural team;
· Willingness to travel to the field sites.
Desirable qualities, Skills and Competences: (list of qualities that are considered desirable for the specific post):
· Excellent writing and spoken communication skill in English
· Excellent communication and organizational skills, ability to determine priorities and giving attention to details.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Windows, Excel, Access, and Power Point; expertise in desktop publishing is required.
· Gender sensitive.
Remuneration & Benefits:
Salary
Birr 7,454.00/month
Transportation Allowance - 10% of monthly salary
Taxi fare 300 birr/month
Medical Allowance - Birr 6500/annum (will be added in your monthly salary)
Pension – 11 % from the employer and 7 % from the employee
