Job Purpose: to create a conducive working environment to present garments and to make optimum use of resources through implementing packing processes that meet the Customer and Company expectations, within all applicable policies, guidelines and regulations through the managerial leadership to the Presentation team.
Key Responsibilities:
Liaise with technical support teams to prepare presentation lines for production
Ensure the understanding of customer requirements
Set production targets
Participate and support daily improvement meetings
Manage workers to maintain presentation quality, efficiency and outputs
Drive for presentation standardization across Factory and Company
Coordinate improvements with Garment Technicians and Mechanics
Provide balance of positive motivation and discipline to achieve output targets
Continuously balance presentation lines to achieve efficiency targets
Continuously monitor presentation production and resolve production problems
Create safe and conducive work environment
Provide managerial leadership to the workers
Understand and live by the Company’s core values
Take accountability for growing and continuously improving oneself
Job Requirement
Education: Vocational education
Experience: 5 years of relevant experience, with at least 2 years in supervisory positions, in a high SKU, labor intensive manufacturing environment
Language skills: Written and spoken English a must
Functional Requirements:
Production management techniques through the use of 4M (man, machine, methods, materials)
Lean manufacturing concepts and tools
Knowledge and use of problem solving tools
Understanding of basic garment quality standards, a plus
Has the drive to lead, engage and enable teams and coach individual team members
Has the drive to meet or exceed a standard of excellence on an ongoing basis
Has the drive to systematically seek out information about things and issues to resolve problems
Other Relevant Information:
Must be willing to travel to Asia to be trained for up to 3 - 6 months in the Company’s existing Factories
