Background
Private Health Sector Project is a USIAD funded five year project implemented by Abt Associates Inc. . Private Health Sector Project has a goal to mitigate the impact of diseases of public health importance in Ethiopia through the active engagement of the private health sector. The major objectives of the project are creating an enabling policy environment, increasing access to quality services for diseases of public health importance through the private health sector, strengthening the private health care system, and generating evidence. The goal and objectives will be achieved in collaboration with the government ( FMoH and its agencies, the private health sector and its associations). Private Health Sector Project operates in Addis Ababa, Amhara, Afar, Benishangul Gumuz,Dire Dawa, Harari, Gambela Oromia, SNNPR, and Tigrai regions. The public health importance programs include PPM-DOTS, Comprehensive HIV/AIDS including HCT, ART and PMTCT; MNCH, Family Planning, STI and Malaria services.
Under the supervision of the Logistics Manager, the Office Assistant/Driver operates and maintains project vehicles to meet the transportation needs of the Private Health Sector Project.
