Johns Hopkins Center for Communication Programs (CCP) is a non-profit organization registered in Ethiopia working to improve the health of Ethiopians. CCP is currently implementing a five-year project called Communication for Health funded by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) and in partnership with John Snow, Inc (JSI), the Federal Ministry of Health, and Regional Health Bureaus. The project is designed to optimize the power of health communication to save lives and transform the public health system in Ethiopia. Communication for Health focuses on six health areas – RMNCH, PMTCT, nutrition, malaria, WASH and TB.
Communication for Health is currently in the process of starting a radio program that promotes healthy behaviors in relation to the health areas mentioned above. The program is expected to be entertaining and educational. As such, it will have drama and reality components. Communication for Health is seeking competent male and female radio producers in the following languages:
Producers may be stationed in Addis Ababa or in the respective zones.
