Tasks
Design and communication
· To analyze the existing communication tools and materials of the program;
· To learn and apply all GIZ corporate design policies and rules
· To cooperate with the communication responsible on the definition, design and release of communication materials (fact sheets, newsletters, web pages, posters, roll-ups, etc.);
· To contribute to the design of communication instruments (work on the design of materials, fulfil follow up and supervision of printing jobs and any other activity related to the finalization and delivery of the materials);
· To make proposals and design internal communication instruments
Contribute to the documentation of facts and figures of the programme
· To cooperate with the coordination of the program in the design of reporting instruments (from the point of view of design, institutional image, corporate design policies) in order to make a better reporting to the partners
· To get acquainted with the outcomes of program monitoring
· To design templates for the regular release of monitoring results, facts and figures
Other Duties/Additional Tasks
· To assist and / or carry out other tasks, as assigned
· To be able to travel to the intervention sites (national parks, biosphere reserves and forests) together with technical staff for a better understanding of the program
Required Entry Qualifications and Competencies
· Studies in graphic design and IT or similar (a Bachelor degree in graphic design is desirable)
· Mastering of Adobe Photoshop. Knowledge of other software like InDesign and MSOffice Publisher and Excel is an asset
· Good mastering of the English language
· Another language than English and Amharic is an asset
