Job Summary
Under the supervision of Engineering Manager the Facilities Engineer will be responsible to coordinate and supervise the workshop and the overall of its activates (welding, fitting, machining &..etc), non-operations maintenance, fabrication and plumber works in efficient and effective manner .
Key responsibilities
· Manage work of engineering fabrication, fitting and machining and plumber works.
· Lead and work closely with technicians at the machine shop and on the site.
· Observe tests on welded surfaces, such as hydrostatic, x-ray, and dimension tolerance to evaluate welding quality and conformance to specifications.
· Analyze engineering drawings and specifications to plan layout, assembly, and welding operations.
· Calculate dimensions of engineering tools and tolerances using knowledge of mathematics and instruments such as micrometers and vernier calipers.
· Analyze sample parts, blueprints, drawings, and engineering information to determine appropriate methods and sequences of operations needed to fabricate products, and determine product dimensions and tolerances.
· Advise clients about the materials being used for finished products.
· Plan and organize row materials need for the work shop.
· Work with TPM for work shop and the compound in general.
· Plane and execute forklifts' maintenance and fulfill their spare parts.
· B.Sc. /Diploma in Mechanical, Industrial Engineering OR related fields with minimum of 3 years for B.Sc. OR 6 years experience for Diploma as a facilities engineer OR relevant experience.
· Abilities to work with pipe work and sheet metal development engineering design soft wares.
· Exposure to Auto CAD and other engineering design soft wares.
