Purpose of the job
This position is responsible to harness the organization’s knowledge and resources to produce sales forecasts that will be used in Sales and for the entire functions Planning and continuously improve the sales forecasting processes and systems, ensuring that forecast accuracy is consistently improving. Work with other departments including Operations, NPI, Supply Chain and Finance to ensure the consistent, cost-effective supply of products to customers. Ensure all SKU’s are available in all the supply points.
Key Responsibilities
-Prepare background information to support sales forecasting
-Develop statistical forecasts
-Measure and report forecast accuracy
Prepare regular reports on forecast accuracy
Analyze trends and identify opportunities for improving the accuracy of future sales forecasts
Identify report on any significant variances between forecasted sales and the organization’s budgets and business plans
-Coordinate with other functions
• Work with production planners to manage exceptions caused by significant, unexpected events in sales and operations
• collect competitor’s activity to identify the opportunity in the market place to develop brands and Sku forecasting reliability.
Education
Degree in Economics ,Accounting and Management
Experience
Understanding of financial impact of forecasting and related decisions
Analytical, numerate
Persistent, Detail & goal oriented
