Plan International Ethiopia is looking for Emergency Finance Officer to be based at Gambella Program Area.
The Role
This position is responsible for rresponsible for all record keeping, reporting and compliance issues of Emergency funds.
Major Activities include:
Preparing cheque after checking all financial documents are reviewed & approved.
Preparing documentation per GFFO reporting templet
Preparing payment voucher, cash receipt, withholding tax voucher for suppliers, purchase order, journal vouchers, and submit the hard copy to be reviewed & approved.
Effecting payments related with GFFO grant and settle on timely basis
Follow the proper documentation of in kind material distribution and readily avail to the Donner(GFFO) during the final reporting
To be successful, applicants need to have to have BA degree in Accounting/Business management with five years of practical experience in a Humanitarian Organization.

Ability to interact and work effectively with others at all levels
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of the team
Excellent Knowledge of Computer applications like Excel, Word, Access and Power point.
Grant management and reporting skill.
