Cooperazione Internazionale (COOPI) is an international Italian NGO established in 1965. Since then COOPI has been undertaking activities to help and empower the poor and needy in different countries. COOPI Ethiopia started its operation in 1995 and its activities include water resources development, Food Security, Human and Veterinary Health, Education, Hygiene and Sanitation Promotion and Awareness and Capacity Building.
COOPI is currently implementing a 42 months project with the principal objective of strengthening economic opportunities and resilience of the most vulnerable communities to human-induced and natural disaster crises, through measures that will increase livelihoods and employment, and better access to basic services, in Liben cluster which are known to be drought prone and food insecure.
COOPI is looking to hire Livelihood activity coordinator /DVM/Animal Science expert who will play a key role in the food security and livelihood aspect of the project.
The Agriculture/irrigation expert will work on livestock health and livestock production improvement, support the development of an organizational culture that reflects dual mandate values; help establish, maintain, and improve active and regular working relationships with all stakeholders and in line with relevant national and internationally recognized standards of accountability.
