Background
The Ethiopian Public Health Association (EPHA) is a legally registered, nongovernmental, not for profit, professional association that has been working for more than 27 years registering remarkable results towards the overall development of the health sector. Since 2006, EPHA has been implementing RH/FP projects in collaboration with Packard foundation, FMoH and Regional Health Bureaus.
EPHA has been implementing the David and Lucile Packard Foundation funded Reproductive Health/Family Planning grants to expand and increase access to quality and comprehensive community based Family Planning services. Recently, EPHA began a three year (October, 2016- September, 2019) RH/FP project which aims to support the national IUCD through level–IV HEWs’ initiatives via building the competency of Level IV HEWs, equipping health posts, strengthening referral linkage, community engagement and generating evidence based information. This project is being implemented in six zones of Oromia Regional State namely; Jimma, Illubabor, Buno Bedele, West Wollega, East Wollega, and West Shewa. Thus, EPHA is looking for RH/FP project Officer who are qualified and will successfully accomplish the following responsibilities.
Position Description
Position Purpose: The officer will be responsible to plan project activities, closely monitor the progress and implementation, compile and record all accomplishments, and produce technical reports. The filed officer works under the direct supervision of the research, training and publication department of EPHA.
