Amref Health Africa is the premier African-led international health development organization headquartered in Nairobi, Kenya. Founded in 1957 as the Flying Doctors of East Africa to bring critical health services to remote communities, Amref Health Africa in the intervening years has broadened its mission to include training of some 500 thousand community health workers and managing the design and implementation of health development projects in more than 30 countries across Africa. With a focus on women and children, Amref Health Africa strives to overcome the most critical health challenges facing the continent: maternal and child health, HIV & TB, malaria, clean water and sanitation and surgical and clinical outreach. Objective
The main purpose of this consultancy is to prepare WASH focused magazine (10-12 pages) that covers Amref Health Africa’s Urban WASH projects achievements.
Tasks and Responsibilities of the producer
The potential consultancy firm is required to meet the following minimum requirements in order to qualify for the submission of proposal.
· Proven advanced skills in magazine designing and production
· Professional experience in providing editorial service and content modification on English language magazines
· Ability to deliver on time (within two weeks after agreement is signed and all the necessary inputs delivered by the organization)
· Good knowledge of WASH and Health related programs
· Experience in working with different relevant stakeholders
· Registered & renewed license
· VAT registration & Tin number registration
· CV with relevant experience included and technical and financial proposals with clear and distinct financial breakdowns & reporting schedule
